Palm (Elaeis guineensis) stands out as one of the most efficient feedstocks for biodiesel, achieving yields above 4,000 liters of oil per hectare and delivering productivity up to eight times higher than other oilseeds. Its adaptability to tropical regions such as Africa, Southeast Asia, and Northern Brazil enables continuous, sustainable, and economically competitive production for up to 30 years. Our project in Palmas–TO demonstrates this potential by combining advanced management, applied research, and ideal climatic conditions. Investing in Palm means strengthening energy security, agricultural productivity, and long-term sustainability.
